Talkeetna | Talkeetna Alaska Day Tours & Sightseeing

Talkeetna, located at the confluence of the Susitna, Chulitna and Talkeetna Rivers, is home to rafting, flightseeing, mountain biking, hiking, camping, and fishing.

Situated 3 hours from Anchorage by train or 2.5 hours by car, you'll arrive to the downtown core (a National Historic Site) which still to this day has buildings like Nagley's General Store and the Talkeetna Roadhouse dating back to the early 1900s.

Talkeetna INTRODUCTION

Talkeetna offers great salmon fishing and is close to Denali, which makes it a popular destination for tourists each and every summer. There are many made-in-Alaska products from local artists, musicians and craftspeople that are sold in the local shops here as well, adding to the authentic, artistic and welcoming ambience of this great Alaskan town.
