Talkeetna, located at the confluence of the Susitna, Chulitna and Talkeetna Rivers, is home to rafting, flightseeing, mountain biking, hiking, camping, and fishing.
Situated 3 hours from Anchorage by train or 2.5 hours by car, you'll arrive to the downtown core (a National Historic Site) which still to this day has buildings like Nagley's General Store and the Talkeetna Roadhouse dating back to the early 1900s.
