Clara moved to Vancouver from France in 2020.
She has always loved travelling, discovering new cultures, and having adventures abroad, so it was natural for her to study tourism management.
Through her studies, she had the opportunity to study and work as an intern in various regions of the world, including Finland, Canada, Spain, and Vietnam.
Back in 2017, Vancouver was one of these places.
She loved it so much that she just had to return three years later to stay permanently.
In her spare time, Clara enjoys playing tennis, running, hiking (in the summer), and skiing and snowboarding (in the winter).
She also likes baking for her family and friends.
What is your favorite place in Canada?
I love Vancouver Island! The landscapes are amazing, ranging from sandy beaches to lush rainforests. It’s a paradise for outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and water sports.
What is your best travel memory in Canada?
Probably the time I went on a weekend trip to Whistler for skiing and to experience the Whistler Olympic Park. I did the bobsleigh ride as well as the skeleton. It was the craziest thing ever, but very fun too!
What one thing in Canada should you experience at least once in your life?
Getting to see whales is incredible! Whether you're lucky enough to spot them from the water (you can often get a glimpse from the ferry between Vancouver and Vancouver Island, if you keep your eyes out), the coast, or you book a whale-watching tour to ensure you can see them up close, they are amazing!
